County Clerk & Recorder
The Clerk and Recorder's office is the official records center for Mineral County.
The office maintains all information about property ownership, vital statistics,
voter registration, and elections. The office is also responsible for accounts
payable and the commissioners' meeting agendas.
The office maintains information about property ownership to enforce statutory
requirements and subdivision regulations. The property ownership records includes
deeds, mortgages, land transfer documents, certificates of survey, and subdivision plats.
The office also preserves records of vital statistics. Copies of birth certificates are
available for a small fee.
Voter registration forms and candidate filing forms (for offices within the county) are
available from the Clerk and Recorder's office.
Elections
Click on the My Voter Page link below to see if you are registered to vote, what county and address you are registered at, and if you are an absentee voter. The service will identify you as an absentee voter and you can check the status of your absentee ballot for the primary and general elections. You will able to view a sample ballot for your precinct beginning 45 days before each primary and general election.
