Dissolution of Marriage (Divorce) & Family Law
The following forms have been made available online (by way of the internet through
our website) for those who are seeking a Dissolution of Marriage
( also known as divorce) and/or Parenting Plan (also known as custody)
and have decided against retaining an attorney for representation. If
there are minor children involved in your case, you are highly encouraged to consider
retaining the services of an attorney if you are able to afford one.
For those who decide to represent themselves we have provided procedural information
for your convenience. This information contains detailed instructions on the
procedures and steps involved. Please follow the steps carefully.
FAMILY LAW SELF HELP CENTER
The Missoula Family Law Self-Help Center opened its doors in July
2008 and provides assistance to those who cannot afford an
attorney or who choose to represent themselves in family law
matters such as dissolution of marriage (divorce), legal separation
and parenting plan (custody) cases. The Missoula Family Law Self-
Help Center does not provide legal advice but rather, directs
individuals to legal information and proper forms which are
available to the general public.

Monday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
